Joe and Ellen Morgan first opened Lickety Split in 1964 in downtown Menomonie, Wisconsin. In the beginning they offered 10 flavors of their homemade super-premium ice cream. Now there are nearly 80 flavors in the repetoire, but only a couple dozen are available at a time. Be sure to stop in often to see what’s new!

In 2010 Joe and Ellen retired and turned the shoppe over to their daughter Norita. But don’t worry, she continues to use the best ingredients. No artifical flavors or colors, just good natural ingredients that you can truly savor.
